There are a lot of updates has been released for the G1000 apps and the bridge program. Customized aircraft is now listed in the aircraft list so users don’t need to enter the customization page to select the profiles.
Updates to the bridge for X-Plane: A setting is added in X-Plane’s keyboard/joystick settings so users can add a key or a button to disengage the autopilot in the PFD app. ALT and GND mode for the transponder are now synced with X-Plane 12.
Updates to the bridge for MSFS: Radio frequencies with 8.33 kHz spacing are now supported(finally…). Target altitude syncing was not working properly. Now it’s fixed. Utilizing MobiFlight’s WASM module, all the switches on the switch panel are now woking with MSFS. Thanks to MobiFlight’s excellent work.
G1000 app no longer reports correct altitude for X-Plane 12, when running with real weather, especially when flying at higher altitudes. The altitude can differ by over a 1000 feet. Altitudes are correct when using “manual” weather or with XP11. I’ve provided more information via support email and bug report, but have not heard anything — is there anything else I can help with?
Updated Apps (version 7.4.0) still don’t fix the problem — is there a update coming to the gateway, perhaps?
Recent update to gateway v 4.1.3 also doesn’t fix the problem.
