I am using x-plane 11. The G1000 App initially worked great. However, after a few days, it will no longer connect. I tried changing to bridge v1.5 & it still won’t connect. I start both the plugin using the x-plane & start and the start in the upper right corner of the G1000 App. The iPad continually says “waiting for connection ” as does the plugin window on my PC running x-plane 11. My iPad’s IP address is correct. 10.180.241.120. I tried a second iPad with a different IP address 10.180.241.137. I get the same results. I tried reloading the plugins by reinstalling from x-plane’s download site reconfiguring everything and still no connection is occurring.
Usually this is a network problem. Please check if there is a firewall blocking the network communication.
I built a new computer system yesterday, reinstalled xplane, then places the G1000 bridge plugin from Simionics into xplane/resources/plugins and it will not show up in my plugins menu in xplane. It worked just fine before I upgraded my hardware and reinstalled. Any idea what I can do to fix it?
Please check these:
1. You’ve downloaded the correct version of the plugin, for windows there are 32bit and 64bit.
2. Place the xpl file into the correct folder. Looks like you’ve done it right.
3. Please make sure the corresponding(32bit or 64bit) VC 2019 redistributable package is installed in your system. It’s required by the latest bridgeX v2.10.
Thank you so much I ran the VC_redist.x64.exe and now it runs like a champ. Thank you so very much. I truely appreciate your help and love the system.
Sincerely,
Wil
Guys I managed so how to connect the G1000 with FSX with the bridge
Than I start using a new network
And right now I can not connect the app with bridge it keep showing me time out reconnection
Any suggestions
Problems like this is usually caused by a firewall blocking the communication between iPad and the bridge. Please add an exception for the bridge program in the firewall settings or open UDP port 1568 which is used by the bridge.
I tried both tricks nothing happened
It has to be a network connectivity problem. Sorry that we can hardly help you on this part any further since it’s pretty user specific. One thing worth looking at is whether you have a VPN enabled. A VPN connect may blocking the communication on the local network.
