After some delay, the audio panel is finally ready. With this gadget, the G1000 simulator is finally complete. Purchasing a whole set with 2 bezels and 1 audio panel is also available in the shop as a single item. Hope you enjoy it.

I see there is a cutout diagram for the audio panel, is there one for the bezel?
Yes, please find the cutouts in the user manuals which can be downloaded from the download page and purchase pages.
I finally got the time to install everything today and it all looks great. One question on the audio panel though. Is it currently able to operate actual functions? Tonight I tried to operate the com2 radio (monitor) button but ito did not turn on that function in XP11. Neither did Marker/mute. Is it supposed to work already. This was in the default Cessna 172sp.
Currently the audio panel only controls the COM selection in the apps. Controlling the COM selection in flight simulators and more functionalities will be included in the next update.
Really looking forward to this. Without this, the audio panel is quite useless as I fly with Pilot Edge and was counting on being able to switch frequencies from the audio panel. Thanks!
As with Jesse – I do the exact same thing and have the same problem. I also fly with PilotEdge and now that X-Plane 11.10 is out with the Cessna 172 G1000, I’m really looking forward to this functionality with the Audio Panel.
I am on the same boat as Jesse and 007. Standing by for the update. 🙂
Already implemented in the current development. Stay tuned for the next update:)
Any update on the timeline of the release?
Working on it. Should be out soon. But no exact date yet.
Talking about future development I want to throw my two cents in. I have both the PFD and MFD with bezels and also the audio panel. I second the previous opinions but also want to add a request that you enable the use of the built in autopilot in X-Plane from the bezel.
I have tried to use Simionics version of the autopilot but have not been very successful. Especially not if you are using other planes than the ones supported by Simionic. The plane goes into some sort of oscillation that invariably fails.
If you just acted as a front end to the built in autopilots, especially with the new features in the last releases of X-Plane things would be much simpler for you.
It’s not easy to completely utilize the built-in autopilot since the modes are different. That will make things complicated. However, the autopilot of the app will be improved in the next update.
Can you elaborate a little bit about what the different modes are all about please.
Sorry, but I’m afraid I don’t quite get your question. Are you asking how to operate a G1000 system? That you should refer to a G1000 manual which you can download from Garmin. The apps are simulating a G1000 Nav III system.
Can you tell us when you deliver your next update and what new functions/improvements we may expect?
Updates will be submitted to Apple this week. Probably will be available next week. For the details of the update, please refer to the description in iTunes AppStore when it’s available.
