The G1000 MFD now with taxiways and terrain! WOW what a nice surprise 🙂 The SimIonic experience keeps getting better and better with each new feature/update. The tech support is great when it’s needed too. Thank you for such an amazing X-Plane experience.

Excellent update made. I really like the new version. However I miss the possibility of updating through navigraph. I think it would be a very important step for me to have more clients of this app.

I have to agree with this Fco. Javier. I bought the entire G1000 bezel setup for my flight simulator and they are absolutely amazing. I use them to fly real IFR flights and approaches that I am either planning or interested in flying in the future. This helps me stay “mentally” IFR current and so I know what to expect when flying into the airport in real life. The only thing I would have to say is missing is sometimes the nav data seems a bit off or not exact. Occasionally on some approaches, the waypoints and flight paths do not exactly line up with the simulator putting me off course by up to a mile or so. While flying IMC on short final, this is obviously not ideal and would result in a missed approach. Granted it is pretty rare, but sometimes does happen.

Ultimately, the product is fantastic and I love to use it. I would just also like to recommend that there is some update in the future to make the navigation data more accurate and reliably so that we can more confidently rely on the apps/bezels to better train for IFR flying.

Taxiways will show when the map is zoomed in enough.
